2018
The Academic Vision
Founded during Nixon Kipkemei's studies in BSc. Energy & Environmental Technology at JKUAT. Yegosun began as a research-driven initiative to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical renewable energy solutions for rural Kenya.
2021
Engineering Pilots
Transitioned from research to implementation. Successfully commissioned our first off-grid solar pilots in Juja, proving that sustainable micro-grids were a viable, cost-effective alternative for local communities.
2026
Yegosun Energy Limited
Officially incorporated as a premier energy partner, headquartered at Garden City. Today, we lead the market in commercial and industrial solar engineering, serving clients nationwide.
